Barbra Streisand is one of the most successful singers of all time, an actress, writer, and director – it seems that her talents are inexhaustible. This music legend has earned the respect of a massive fan base and has become a true icon for younger generations of performers.
For Evelina Sašenko, organizing a concert of Barbra Streisand’s songs was a long-held dream – now fulfilled and approved by listeners. “To me, this singer is like a mentor I look up to, whose recordings I listen to the most,” says E. Sašenko. In the programme, Evelina included songs from the musicals Funny Girl, Cats, and many other popular Barbra Streisand songs.
Evelina isn’t trying to imitate or impersonate this artist. She dedicates the performance to everyone who adores Barbra Streisand just as much as she does. She will be accompanied by pianist Paulius Zdanavičius.
