Violin Odyssey: A Portrait of Grażyna Bacewicz

On April 26, come discover the works of Grażyna Bacewicz, a Polish composer of Lithuanian descent! Five talented musicians, four violinists and a pianist, will paint her portrait with the sounds of music. Hear exceptional pieces that are rarely played in Lithuania and spend a wonderful musical afternoon.

Janusz Wawrowski is regarded as one of the most accomplished and distinctive violinists of his generation, with exceptional interpretations. Linus Roth has received the ECHO KLASSIK Award as Best Newcomer of 2006 for his début CD and another ECHO award in 2017. Judyta Kluza-Spornia is a laureate of numerous solo and chamber music competitions, including 1st prize at the Bach Solo Competition in Poznań. 20-year-old Zofia Anna Olesik is the laureate of over 30 national and international competitions.

Aleksandra Świgut, pianist, is a second-prize winner and laureate of numerous special prizes of the 17th International Edward Grieg’s Competition in Bergen (2022).
