Enjoy the beginning of autumn with great music! On 13 September, world-class piano virtuoso Alexander Paley and three other talented artists will present the seventh music marathon to the audience of Paliesius Manor. This time, the theme is the works of Schubert.
Schubert is one of the most important composers in the history of music. Although he lived a short life and died very young, he composed an extraordinary amount of music and, according to Paley, almost all his works are masterpieces. He wrote music mainly for cosy musical gatherings, such as salons and performances among friends. This intimate feeling can be experienced during the Schubertiada in Paliesius. In one day and three concerts, you will hear practically all of the composer’s greatest masterpieces: magnificent piano trios, sonatas, piano works for four hands, and much more.
“This music, Schubert’s extraordinary music, can find its way into everyone’s heart, musicians and non-musicians alike,” says Alexander Paley.
