The trio’s concert program combines two different genres: jazz and folk. The synthesis of these genres is a completely new and not yet widespread musical phenomenon in Lithuania. This genre promotes the dissemination of national music in its pure form and its connection with jazz.

Professional arrangements for a trio, created by jazz pianist, arranger, and composer Andrey Polevyakov, combine interesting harmonies and new colours, while maintaining a modern sound and connection with the national culture of Ukraine and Lithuania. Andrey’s mastery of arrangement and virtuoso playing impresses listeners.

Marina Pylypenko is not just a vocalist but also a cultural activist of the Ukrainian tradition in Lithuania. This is what a modern Ukrainian woman sounds like. For such a woman there is a whole story behind every sung Ukrainian song, each song has its own unique meaning. “Marina sings with her heart,” listeners say about her performances.
