Spend the Saturday afternoon before Christmas listening to popular and lesser-known chamber music at Paliesius Manor!
„It is no coincidence that we chose works by Ukrainian and Polish composers for this concert. The last few years have shown how strong the bond between Lithuanians and these nations is in the face of war, and how powerful unity and loyalty to true values can be,” says Dalia Kuznecovaitė, first violinist.
The Vilnius String Quartet is a prominent representative of Lithuanian chamber music tradition with a long history of activity. Having made its debut in 1965, the Quartet was awarded the highest prize at the International String Quartet Competition in Liege (Belgium) in 1972.
Tadas Motiečius is a winner of national and international competitions, as well as a participant in seminars, festivals, and various projects. He has been awarded by Lithuanian Presidents Valdas Adamkus and Dalia Grybauskaitė and has won the Queen Morta Award.
