On 30 May, come hear the renowned Pino de Vittorio! With three instrumentalists, he will transport the audience to Italy with his voice and battente guitar, with the programme Tarantella del Rimorso: traditional songs and music from the Apulian region, Southern Italy.
Pino De Vittorio is an actor and singer, born in Leporano (Taranto). After an artistic start dedicated to the recovery of the Apulian tradition, he founded the theater-musical company Pupi e Fresedde with Angelo Savelli; later, he joined Roberto De Simone’s theater company. He held concerts for the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and Settembre Musica in Turin and San Maurizio in Milan, performed in London for the Royal Family of England, was the founder of the Media Aetas group, also directed by De Simone, holding concerts all over the world. Pino de Vittorio has also recorded numerous records of sacred and profane music with the Cappella dei Turchini for Synphonia, Opus111, Naive, Eloquentia, and Glossa.
