The performance is a chance to learn more about the fascinating Japanese culture and observe a unique fusion of nature and dance. The Kannon-Mai dance, based on one of the oldest Japanese shrine dances, will be performed. This dance is an expression of nature itself. The movements are slow, they happen naturally. It is almost like a prayer that unites music and nature.

Taeka Nakano is a prayer dancer. In her childhood, she was learning ballet and loved Japanese “bon dance”. While learning hula dancing, she found the origin of soul and how spirit speaks through the body. Now, she is exploring her own style, but with the Japanese spirit at its heart.
Chie Narita is a cellist, singer, song writer, improviser. Through travelling and doing yoga, her mind became freer, she found a deep connection between music and spirit. Later, she started performing as a cellist in some bands. She has released 3CDs. Now she continues studying the classics and performing in creative and traditional spaces.
