On 17 May, Paliesius manor is hosting a special concert by two renowned Lithuanian artists, saxophone star Petras Vyšniauskas and pianist Aleksandra Žvirblytė, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Lithuania’s accession to the European Union!

Two worlds: classical music and the art of improvisation. Two bright personalities from different fields who play and provoke, and so create a new fusion. New music is born, unique and unexpectedly organic.

The projects of these two musicians have already conquered the hearts of fans of European music in Lithuania. Both audiences and music critics admire the supreme excellence of the performers, their unique artistic ideas, the intriguing fusion of classical masterpieces with spontaneous improvisations, and thoughts and ideas born here and now. The concert will feature original compositions and improvisations based on music from all 27 countries of the European Union.
