Two violins and a piano is a combination rarely heard. So this newly formed trio ensemble of three ambitious, talented performers, who have joined forces for a musical project, is unique. And the instruments make great conversations among themselves!
Dainius Puodžiukas is a concertmaster of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra. He was awarded the title of laureate at the Young Virtuosos 2001 New York Festival Competition, which gave him the opportunity to perform as a soloist at the famous Carnegie Hall.
Ieva Puodžiukė is a Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra artist and teacher. She has toured many halls with Kremerata Baltica and has been performing chamber music for two violins together with her husband Dainius Puodžiukas since 2016.
Darius Mažintas’ piano playing is associated with expressiveness, subtlety and emotional presence. The pianist is known for musicality, unique interpretation, unexpected nuances and distinctive musical images.
