Andrius Žlabys, a pianist that lives in the USA but is always welcome in Lithuania, returns to the PASAGA Concert Hall!

Andrius Žlabys was nominated for the prestigious Grammy Award and is one of the most renowned contemporary Lithuanian pianists who has gained international recognition. He is praised for his seemingly effortless virtuosity, generous and all-encompassing sound, enchanting interpretations, and richness of musical perception. When Andrius Žlabys went to the USA to study piano, he was soon noticed as a “shining hope of pianists” (The New York Sun). He has subsequently performed with many of the world’s leading symphony orchestras, won numerous international competitions, has given concerts at world-renowned venues such as Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, the Concertgebouw, Carnegie Hall, the Phillips Collection, and Wigmore Hall, among others. The musicians he has worked with include Yuri Bashmet, Hilary Hahn, Gidon Kremer, and many others.
